Where else ideally to test headphones with ANC? I am currently sitting on the Tábor -> Prague train and I have AirPods 4 with active noise cancellation in my ears. My ears always hurt after that hour of travel with the AirPods Pro on. The headphone body is too big for these organs of mine and I couldn't find any suitable eartip size that would fit 100%.

But AirPods 4 are great. Apple he shrunk them, kept stamina and gave them ANC - that is, in the higher variant. And I, with the volume at half and the suppression on, can't hear the hum of the air conditioner, I can't hear the radio announcing the next stop, or the chatter of fellow passengers. Not even the noise of the train itself. It's true that this track has undergone a major upgrade and is no longer the hell it used to be, but a pretty comfortable ride nonetheless. If I hadn't been swaying on the seat, I wouldn't have known, at least from the noise, that I was actually driving.

So there is definite enthusiasm in this regard. Even if I can't feel the headphones in my ears. It doesn't hurt me, I don't have to constantly readjust them for fear of them falling out, which is why the ANC is also constant and unchanging (which you can also set, by the way) and the reproduction is of the highest quality. AirPods 4 with ANC cost CZK 4, and at least now I can clearly recommend investing in them rather than the basic model.
