Jiří Filip Wireless charging has become an integral part of everyday use of iPhones and other devices since Applu. But finding a charger that can handle iPhone, Apple Watch i AirPods at the same time, offers fast charging and looks good, is not so easy. And I say this as a person who, thanks to my work, has already had dozens of various chargers, charging stands and who knows what other solutions pass through my hands. However, when the new Cubenest 3in1 SQ312 charger recently arrived at our editorial office Ultra, I was quite happy. Because of its appearance and technical specifications, it can withstand the highest parameters.
Technical specifications, processing and design
Cubenest 3in1 SQ312 Ultra supports the Qi2.2 standard, which allows it to handle up to 25W wireless charging of iPhones via MagSafe, which is the maximum that is currently Apple allows. Thanks to this, you can go from zero to 50% in about 25 minutes, as I mentioned in my experience. However, the charger can also handle classic Qi charging up to 15W for devices other than iPhone, so it is not limited to the ecosystem Appyou.
But of course, this charger isn't just about the iPhone. Since it's triple, it can Apple Watch charge with a power of up to 5 W, which is exactly the value required for fast charging on newer models (from Series 7 and above) Ultra). In practice, this means that even if you take off your watch for just half an hour during a shower, you will get it back to a comfortable battery level. For AirPods there is a dedicated pad that offers power up to 5 W, which is for cases AirPods Pro even classic ones AirPods more than sufficient. The advantage is that charging works reliably even through a silicone or leather case. And an even bigger advantage for me is that this pad can of course charge other devices as well. iPhone, albeit slowly of course.

The Cubenest itself is powered via USB-C, and in the package you will find a 45W Power Delivery adapter and cable. The power adapter is very important. If you reach for a weaker adapter, you will not get full power from the charger. Thanks to 45 W, however, they can easily power all three surfaces simultaneously without any speed limitations. The good thing is that in addition to the 45W PD adapter USB-C cable and travel case are included in the package. So you don't have to worry about anything - whether you have a sufficiently powerful adapter, whether you are missing a cable or where to store the charger if necessary. Everything you need is right in the box.

The entire solution weighs only 171 grams thanks to the use of high-quality aluminum, which you will appreciate especially when traveling, and it fits into a smaller backpack pocket. This is the difference from heavy stands that look sturdy, but are not very suitable for traveling. If you are interested in the dimensions, when folded, they are 6,2 x 6,2 x 2,1 cm. It almost makes me want to brush off the iconic advertising slogan "energy packed for travel", even though it was used in the past with a significantly different product.
Speed that surprises
It probably won't surprise you that the first thing that caught my eye about the Cubenest was its speed. I'm a big fan of wireless charging myself, but to be honest, I've been quite frustrated by its speed until recently, and I've often had to sacrifice the convenience of this solution for the speed of a traditional cable. But here, the situation is completely different.
iPhone supporting Qi 2.2 (for example, the 17 Pro) went from zero to fifty percent in less than 22 minutes, a result that pleased me very much even compared to a classic cable. This is thanks to the new Qi2.2 technology, which, in addition to higher performance, also brings a more precise magnetic attachment. The phone always attaches precisely, you don't have to fiddle with it and hope that it charges.
I also noticed a difference in heating during testing. While cheap chargers tend to heat up both the phone and itself, the Cubenest keeps the temperature reasonably low. Even during prolonged charging, I didn't feel like I was getting a "heater" from the charger, which is very positive news for the long-term condition of the battery. Sure, some heating will occur, but it's not extreme enough to freak you out.
Another big plus comes with Apple Watch. I tried the classic Series 9, 10 and 11 with them and the fast charging worked flawlessly. I had the watch ready to use in a moment, which is exactly what you need in the morning before leaving the house. What does this mean? That you are able to get from 0 to 80% in just half an hour for the Series 10 and 11, and in 45 minutes for the Series 9. As for charging AirPods, of course, this also works reliably. However, I won't bore you with the times here, because this is a rather specific charging process, where the case itself charges the headphones, while you charge the case, which ultimately means that the times vary depending on the charge level of everything.
So what is the charger like in practice? I felt the biggest difference compared to classic charging in my daily routine. I come home, put iPhone on a stand, I'll click on it Apple Watch and I will postpone AirPods. The whole thing takes literally two seconds and that's it. No more fumbling for cables, no more searching for a free charger. And with fast charging support, you know that if you need to run somewhere after you get home, you can justchat your things on the charger for literally a few minutes and they are "fed" for the next few hours of use.
I also tried charging my iPhone in a silicone case from AppThe magnet held it without any problems. The phone did not move even during incoming calls and strong vibrations. In practice, this means that you do not have to worry that your phone would, for example, slide off the stand at night and wake up in the morning with a half-empty battery.
Summary
Cubenest 3in1 SQ312 Ultra for me, after a few days of testing, it is not just another wireless charger, but an accessory that has immediately become part of my daily routine. It charges quickly, reliably, does not heat up, looks great and is practical at home and on the go.
