How in macOS Sonoma disable desktop display by clicking

Company Apple released the operating system last week macOS Sonoma. This major update brings a number of new features – including a few minor ones. One thing users will likely notice after installing the update is the new Click to Show Desktop option, which is enabled by default and, as the name suggests, hides all windows when you click on the wallpaper.

This is a practical feature that can help to declutter your desktop in many cases. However, it can be a bit of a hassle for some users. Operating system macOS fortunately, it allows you to disable this setting.

In the upper left corner of the screen, click on  menu -> System settings.
In the left part of the settings window, click on Desktop and Dock.
In the section Area and Stage Manager find the item Click on the wallpaper to display the desktop.
