On this occasion, Ternus sent out his first ever internal letter as CEO to employees, in which he thanked his predecessor, outlined a vision for the future Applu and at the same time he didn't forget to really tease us about the product premiere, which awaits us next week.

Jan Vajdák Veliternian began his memorandum by thanking employees for the wishes he received in connection with his new position. However, he devoted significantly more space to CookHe thanked him not only for sharing his experience and knowledge during the preparations for the change of leadership, but above all for everything he did for Apple did during his tenure.
Cookand described him as a man who led the company according to his values, with decency and humanity. At the same time, he emphasized that he was glad that his predecessor remained a part of Applu as executive chairman. The transition between the two bosses, at least according to their public and internal statements, certainly does not seem like a sharp break from one era to another.

But Ternus quickly moved on to the future, writing to employees that he was honored to take over the leadership of what he called the best company in the world, and he mentioned the huge product launch planned for next week, which he said would be “phenomenal.”
We are, of course, talking about the special "Surprise and Shine" event, which Apple will be held on September 9. Ternus will be appearing at it for the first time in the role of CEO and, according to previous information,macThere will certainly be no shortage of products to introduce. iPhones 18 Pro, new Apple Watch and above all, the first folding car in history iPhone. But the even more interesting part of Ternus' memo concerns what's coming later. The new CEO wrote to employees that he's looking forward not only to the products already in development, but also to those that Apple he hasn't even thought of yet and which his teams will create together. He then concluded the first report to the employees with a brief promise that further informationmacand they will follow.

Ternus's entry is also interesting because of his professional background. Applu joined in 2001 and held the position of senior vice president of hardware engineering before being promoted to CEO. While Cook Before the takeover, Ternus was known primarily as an exceptionally capable operations and supply chain expert. Ternus has a significantly stronger product and technical background.

Of course, we won't see the new CEO's true handwriting for a few days. Products that Apple will present on September 9, were created long before his arrival, and the same applies to a number of facilities planned for the coming months or years. But the first memorandum shows miniIt is clear how Ternus wants to open its era: with respect for the past, emphasis on products and a very confident look into the future. Now it remains to be seen how significantly its Apple will actually change over time.
