Summon no evil
They met on holiday in Italy. The Daltons, an ordinary London family, and the charismatic doctor Paddy (James McAvoy) with his wife and son. After a few shared holiday experiences, the two families hit it off so well that shortly after their return, the Daltons rush to the countryside to take advantage of an invitation and spend an unforgettable weekend on Paddy's large farm in the countryside, far from civilization. Because the Daltons (MacKenzie Davis and Scoot McNultyairy) are going through a relationship crisis, hoping that a little adventure can "kick them" in the right direction. But from the moment they arrive, everything goes downhill. The promised paradise on Earth is far from perfect, and the originally charming Paddy turns out to be a weirdo whose behavior is far from normal. That's why the Daltons decide to end their stay with their "friends" early. Little do they know, however, that it's Paddy who will say when and if they'll leave at all.

The Japanese, who had conquered most of Asia in the early 40s and tried to establish an "eternal era of common prosperity", were already in a slow and bloody retreat at the beginning of 1945. In March, to eliminate any risk of attack, Japanese troops launched an unexpected brutal attack on the Vichy French troops in Indochina, which they had tolerated until then. Those who survived the attack escaped into the jungle in an attempt to reach China under a vague evacuation plan that no one believed. They formed a column, which was later named Alessandri's column after its commander. Of the 20 French troops in the Far East, barely 000 made it to safety. Legionnaires from the isolated Khan Khaï camp, which housed alcoholics and other incapacitated soldiers, were never able to catch up with Alessandri's column and join it. We still don't know who of Khan Khaï's squad of soldiers survived. His legend inspired the story of this film, the story of the "drunk motorcade".
