It's the last day of the week, and it's also the last day before the global Christmas mania begins. Many companies have been quiet for this reason, trying to avoid any controversy and stay grounded. This means that we won't be doing any space trips this time. However, we have some hot news from the tech world, including Sony pulling Cyberpunk 2077 from the store, Twitter experimenting with voice recognition, and chatLos Angeles is slowly moving away from asphalt to plastic. So let's dive into today's summary before Christmas and take a break from the ever-present stress.

Sony is taking a hard line against Cyberpunk. She offers a refund and has pulled the game from the store

Perhaps nothing has recently sparked such controversy and hot debate as Cyberpunk 2077. This title from the workshop of the Polish studio CD Projekt RED has fully lived up to its name and is a real punk. In addition to the fact that the game offered a whole host of more or less serious technical errors when it was released, fans also complain about the very fact that the title did not live up to expectations and somehow failed to fulfill the high and lofty ideas of the players. For this reason too, the gaming community has divided into two irreconcilable camps, and just like the fans, the publishers and big players in the form of Sony, who decided to take a drastic step and withdraw the game from the digital store, at least until the necessary matters are resolved, are also on the fence.

The decision comes just after players began massively calling for refunds, and while this is not an issue for the PC and Xbox versions, in the case of PlayStationThis is not a standard procedure. Instead of Sony having to deal with thousands of requests from dissatisfied fans every day, the Japanese giant simply pulled the game from the store and is hoping to bring it back when the most serious technical errors are fixed. After all, the game runs terribly on old-generation consoles and due to the lack of parts PlayStation 5, many players have not yet made it to the next generation. The game studio wants to wait until the situation calms down and, above all, wants to increase its reputation by enabling this non-standard procedure.

Twitter is testing chatchannels. This would allow the media giant to compete with established platforms

When it comes to technical changes, many big tech giants are a bit conservative and cautious. After all, many companies don't want to turn their fans against each other, and Twitter is no exception. However, after a massive redesign, the popular messaging platform has resorted to experiments, testing new features that could enrich the community's experience of using the service and at the same time increase the company's competitiveness. Specifically, we are talking about voice channels and chatin, i.e. special rooms where users could use a microphone and would not have to limit themselves exclusively to text and somewhat truncated posts.

A special feature called Spaces is intended to serve as a kind of divider between the standard chatand voice recordings. In addition to dedicated rooms, users can now also record a voice tweet or attach a short message. Twitter wants to not only compete with established platforms such as Discord or Facebook, which have offered this option for a long time, but also offer a completely new experience that will correspond to what users actually demand from the platform in today's fast-paced times. After all, recording a short voice recording is much more convenient and easier than writing a character-limited post, and we can quite well imagine that this function will also be of relief to journalists who often express their thoughts and feelings regarding the latest events on Twitter.

Los Angeles as a city of the future. Representatives knocked the use of plastic instead of asphalt

In today's progressive era, more and more companies, especially technological ones, are helping the environment and, if possible, replacing existing established methods that do not meet the standards and in many ways exceed the established limits. The same is true of TechniSoil, which is part of the Neo conglomerate. It is this company that has set itself the goal of revolutionizing the road and highway construction industry and offering an alternative that will also have a significant impact on the environment. We are talking about a special method of processing asphalt, which until now consisted in the fact that publicly accessible roads relied exclusively on pure asphalt. Fortunately, creators inspired by solar roads charging electric cars came up with a new solution that would save up to 150 plastic bottles per kilometer.

Engineers from TechniSoil have invented a way to embed plastic bottles directly into asphalt and "directly"chat" is in such a way that the consistency and reliability of this type of material will not be affected. At the same time, it will not be necessary to recycle plastics or simply dispose of them in the countless landfills that surround the city. This would not only relieve the city's budget, but also the environment, and it would be a win-win for everyone. Everyone is accepting the idea and it is only a matter of time before it is implemented. Either way, it is a great alternative and we can only hope that other cities will adapt to the method. And all we can do is wish you a nice and peaceful holiday without stress and, above all, spent with your loved ones. Don't worry, in a few days 2020 will be behind us and a bright technological future ahead of us.
