Tidy up your desktop with one click

Quickly reduce image size without additional applications
Need to reduce the size of photos for email or the web, but don't want to open a graphics editor? macOS It does this right in the Finder. Just select the images you want, right-click, choose Quick Actions → Convert Image, and set the new size or format. You're done in seconds - without installing any additional software.
Passwords clearly in one place
Key ring iCloud is no longer just about automatic login. In macOS You can find a complete overview of all saved passwords directly in the system settings. You can find the path in → System Settings → Passwords, where after verification the saved login details will be displayed, including the option to copy or edit them. Thanks to synchronization, the same data will also be displayed on your iPhone or iPad.
Active corners as a secret productivity weapon
Keyboard shortcuts aren't the only way to get work done. Macu speed up. Also very effective are Hot Corners, which launch a selected action when the cursor moves to a specific corner of the screen. You can set, for example, to display the desktop, Launchpad, lock the screen or start a screen saver. Hot Corners can be found in → System Preferences → Desktop & Dock → Hot Corners… and for greater security, you can also set the need to hold down a key to prevent the action from being triggered by mistake.
You can also change the color of the cursor
If you don't like the standard black and white cursor, macOS allows you to customize its appearance. This is useful not only for better visibility, but also for accessibility. In → System Preferences → Accessibility → Display, you can change the color of the cursor's fill and outline, or return to the original settings with a single click.
Low power mode even on Macu
Low power mode is no longer a privilege of iPhones. macOS also offers it and can significantly extend battery life, especially when working away from a socket. You can find it in → System Settings → Battery, where you can set its behavior separately for battery or mains power. The system will slightly reduce performance in this mode, but in exchange for longer battery life.
Mirror your iPhone screen directly to Mac
AirPlay does not have to be used only to transmit images to a television. If you have iPhone or iPad and Mac connected to the same Wi-Fi, you can wirelessly display your mobile device's screen directly on the Macu. Just open Control Center on your iPhone, tap Screen Mirroring, and select Mac from the device list. Ideal for presenting photos or videos.
Live text: text from images in seconds
macOS can recognize text directly in images and photos. The Live Text feature allows you to highlight, copy, or call or write an email directly from the text. It is activated in → System Settings → General → Language & Region → Live Text. Even though Czech is not officially fully supported, the feature is very useful in practice.
