Adam Kos Apple my September Keynote started with the smallest product on his update list – AirPods Pro 3. There may not be that many new features, but they are still there and they are quite important. Here you have them all in one place.
Nothing has changed regarding the chip. The H2 chip is still there. However, the charging case now has a U2 chip, which allows for more precise localization (extending the range of precise search by 50%). Apple They also worked on active noise cancellation, which is 4x more effective than the first generation, and 2x more effective than the second. This is also due to the foam tips, which were previously silicone. You will find 5 of them in the package.
Of course, there are old familiar functions, such as adaptive sound, bandwidth mode, conversation detection, voice isolation, etc. Among the sensors, a heart rate sensor has been added. How Apple states, it is intended for use during workouts with the Fitness app and compatible apps on the iPhone with iOS 26 and later. They do this using LEDs that emit light that is invisible to the eye 256 times per second, combined with data synthesis from accelerometers. Touch control remains, as do gestures.

Dimensions and weight may not please
We expected a reduction AirBy the way, we also expected a reduction in the case. In the first case, it's halfway, in the second, not at all, or vice versa. The width of the earphone is only smaller, but the thickness is thicker. This may not be a problem, because its shape is slightly different, and so it can actually fit better in the ear. The case is then taller, wider and thicker, but it has lost weight.

The 2nd generation case provided 30 hours of listening time, now it is up to 24 hours of listening time with active noise cancellation on. In both cases, the case with the headphones charges for one hour of listening time in 5 minutes.

The new headphones are also dust, sweat, and water resistant, but now with an IP57 specification, which is a jump from IP54. Bluetooth 5.3 is the same. AirPods Pro 3 costs 6 Kč, so they replaced the aging 2nd generation in the portfolio, which will now only be clearing out warehouses.
