Create dynamic folders and stay organized automatically
If your notes are starting to get too big for you, smart folders can help. They work like smart inboxes in Mail—they automatically sort your notes according to rules you set. You can group them by keywords, tags, or creation date, for example. Just click the “+” in the bottom left corner, select New Folder, and turn on Convert to Smart Folder. From then on, your notes will sort themselves.
Lock sensitive notes
Many of us store personal or work information in Notes.mace that no one else should read. Fortunately, you can password protect them, Touch ID or Face ID. Open a note, click the lock icon at the top of the window, and choose your preferred protection method. Locked notes will only open after you enter a password or verify your fingerprint—perfect for passwords, medical information, or personal journals.
Share notes and collaborate in real time
Notes aren't just for individual work - you can easily share them with others. In addition to classic sharing, the app also offers the option to create a shared link, which allows invited users to edit the note online, even if they don't have a device from Applu. Open the note's context menu, select Share invitation → Invite via link, and send the link to colleagues or friends. Perfect for team brainstorming or family to-do lists.
Export notes to PDF
Sometimes you need to share a note outside the ecosystem Applu – for example, for printing or archiving. In this case, use the PDF export. Open the desired note, click File → Export as PDF in the top bar and select a location. This will give you a universal file that can be opened on virtually any device without the need to install additional applications.
Change security as needed
If you decide over time that you don't like the password and would rather use Touch ID, or vice versa, no problem. In the Notes → Settings menu, open the Password security method section and select your preferred authentication method. You can change this option at any time - the application will remember the new setting and use it for all future locked notes.
