This means that the phone must constantly rely on complex software adjustments to artificially brighten or darken the scene in difficult lighting conditions.

The studied blurring of the background behind the subject, the so-called bokeh, will no longer have to be calculated so vigorously and complexly by artificial intelligence. It will be created purely optically, thanks to which the resulting portrait will look much more realistic and professional.

The fundamental question still remains whether Apple will put aperture control directly into the hands of users for full manual control, or completely integrate it into automatic mode, where it will invisibly improve quality in the background.
